The South Portland Public Library is pleased to provide several museum/attraction/destination passes for the use of our community. Passes are available to anyone with a current South Portland Public Library card in good standing. Please contact the circulation desk at the Main Library for current availability of any of the passes.

Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine
This pass provides a 50% discount on museum admission for up to 4 people. The first Friday of the month, the Museum offers $2 admission from 5-8 p.m. during which time it does not accept passes.
This pass provides free admission to the museum. 4 individual passes are available daily.
This pass provides free general admission for up to 8 individuals in a single family group. 1 pass available daily.
This pass provides free admission for up to 2 adults and 6 children. The pass may be reserved in advance by calling the Main Library at 767-7660. The pass is valid only for the date reserved with the library.
Maine State Park Vehicle Pass
This seasonal pass admits occupants of up to 1 ton/17 passenger vehicle to day use facilities of Maine State Parks and Historic Sites.
This pass differs from our other passes, as it is a single physical pass which must be returned to the library. The following use rules apply to the Maine State Park Vehicle Pass:
- The Maine State Park Vehicle Pass must be returned on or before the SECOND day following checkout (i.e., if checked out on Tuesday the third, it must be returned no later than Thursday the fifth) and can not be renewed.
- A late fee of $1.00 per day will be applied if the pass is not returned when due.
- After 7 days overdue, the full replacement amount of $70.00 will be charged.
- The pass may only be borrowed from, and must be returned to, the Main Library.
The Maine State Park Vehicle Pass is not accepted at the following parks: Baxter State Park, The Allagash Wilderness Waterway, The Penobscot River Corridor, The Penobscot Narrows Observatory, the Maine Wildlife Park, Peacock Beach, or Scarborough Beach. The Maine State Park Pass is for day-use only and does not include camping.
This seasonal pass provides reduced admission ($3.50 each for ages 4 and up) for up to 7 people. 1 pass available daily. The Maine Wildlife Park accepts payment by cash or check only.
Provides reduced admission ($10/person) for up to 2 people per ticket.
This pass provides free entry for one person. The pass must be reserved in advance by calling the Main Library at 767-7660. The pass is valid only for the date reserved with the library. The Portland Observatory is open from Memorial Day through Columbus Day.
This pass provides free admission for up 6 people. 1 pass available daily.
This pass provides free admission for up to 2 adults and up to 4 children. 2 passes available daily.
