The Friends BookShop
The Friends undertook a new initiative in February of 2015 – the Friends BookShop! The BookShop is an ongoing book sale room, located on the lower level of the Main Library. The BookShop is open on a regular schedule, staffed with volunteers eager to put some great books in your hands at a great price, with all proceeds going to support the library!
The current hours of the Friends BookShop are:
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 10am until 3pm
- Saturdays, from 10am to 5pm
The Friends gratefully accept donations for the BookShop! They can accept gently used books, CDs and DVDs during normal BookShop hours of operation. Please do not leave donations in the library’s book drop or unattended in any area of the library. Please, no textbooks, encyclopedias or magazines of any kind. Also, items showing signs of water, mold or other damage should not be brought into the library. Please understand that, while we appreciate that you think of us, the need to dispose of inappropriate materials brought to the library consumes our very limited city staff and volunteer resources. Thank you!
