Local author W. Edward Crockett will be visiting the South Portland Public Library to discuss his memoir The Ghosts of Walter Crockett. Crockett’s memoir captures the joys of youth and love of family set on Munjoy Hill against the backdrop of poverty, uncertainty, and the ever present specter of an alcoholic and often homeless father. Books will be available for purchase courtesy of Nonesuch Books.
