Curbside Pick Up

While you are welcome to come to the Main Library to pick up any items, we also continue to offer curbside pick up of library materials – by appointment only – at the Main Library Location.

How it Works

  1. Order your item(s)
  2. Wait for confirmation of availability
  3. Make your pick up appointment
  4. Pick up your item(s)
  5. Enjoy your item(s)
  6. Return & repeat!


Order your item(s)

You may request items online or by phone.

Placing your holds online is the quickest & most accurate way to get the items you want.  You can search for what you’re looking for in the “Search Our Catalog” box (on the right hand side of this and every page of our site).  We also have a handy “Browse Our Catalog” section in the menus, above.

You may also call the library at 767-7660 and choose option #2, Front Desk.  If staff are available, they will assist you in locating and requesting books.



You will receive a confirmation email, a text notification or a phone call from library staff, depending on how your account is configured.

You can also check the status of a request at any time by logging in to your account.

Items that are ready for you will display a STATUS of “Ready. Must pick up by” with a date by which the item must be picked up before it is returned to the shelf or passed on to the next user waiting for it.



Appointments are only necessary if you wish to use our Curbside Pick Up service.  If you plan on picking up your items inside the library during an in person visit, you may do so at any time during our regular business hours.

When an item is ready, you can stop by the Main Library to pick it up, in person, inside the library or you may schedule a time to pick up your library materials using our Curbside Pick Up service.

Please do not make an appointment until you have been notified that a requested item is available and ready to be picked up.  Appointments made before items are available for you will be cancelled.

Please note: you will receive an email confirmation of your appointment.  If you do not receive this email, you DO NOT have an appointment scheduled and staff will not know to have your items ready for you to pick up.  Please CONTACT US or call if you do not receive an appointment confirmation so that we may assist you.

DO NOT make more than a single appointment.

If you receive notice that another item is in BEFORE your scheduled pick up appointment, please do not make an additional appointment – you will receive all available items at the time of your scheduled pickup.  Making multiple appointments ties up staff time, creates risky work situations inside the building and deprives other users of access to the library.

If you are unable to keep a previously scheduled appointment, please contact us to let us know so that we may free the time up for another library user.  You may schedule a new appointment online.


Pick Up

Curbside pick ups are now at the UPPER LEVEL DOOR (generally known as “the staff entrance”)

Please arrive at your scheduled time.

Staff will monitor the parking lot for your arrival.  Please wait in your vehicle in the designated parking space and we will have your items out for you soon!

If you have items to return, please leave them in the designated box on the landing.
