Author Talk with James Hayman

Bestselling author James Hayman will be discussing his latest book, A Fatal Obsession, at the Main Library on Tuesday, June 4 at 6:30 p.m. This thriller follows two detectives, Mike McCabe and Maggie Savage, as they investigate the abduction of McCabe’s niece, the talented young Zoe. Police believe the abduction is the work of a man dubbed “The Star Struck Strangler,” a killer who has been targeting one beautiful young performer after another. Suddenly, the race is on to stop a vicious attacker before the McCabe family is torn apart beyond repair.

A native New Yorker,  Hayman worked in advertising for over 30 years before moving to Portland, Maine to continue his writing career. His first thriller, The Cutting, was the first book to feature Portland detectives Mike McCabe and Maggie Savage. Four more McCabe/Savage thrillers followed landing Hayman on the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today best seller lists. His latest, A Fatal Obsession, is available online and in bookstores. Copies will also be available to purchase and have signed at this event.
