On Thursday, September 28 at 6pm at the Main Library join Chelsea Conaboy and Hannah Matthews as they discuss their new books.
Chelsea Conaboy is a health and science journalist. She was part of the Boston Globe’s Pulitzer Prize–winning team for coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing. Her first book, Mother Brain: How Neuroscience Is Rewriting the Story of Parenthood, has been called “a game-changer” and is set to be published in 20 countries. She lives in South Portland with her husband, their two children, and her own changing parental brain.
Hannah Matthews is a writer, doula, reproductive health care clinic worker, artist, and mother. Her debut, You or Someone You Love: Reflections from an Abortion Doula, was published in May 2023, and is a finalist for this year’s New England Book Award. She lives in Maine with her family.
