Cats: A Musical Review

April 29, 2017 – 10:30 am

The library will be hosting a musical review of Cats, presented by Snow Stage Productions, on Saturday, April 29 at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library. The talented youth performers in this show will dazzle and amaze audience members of all ages!

Snow Stage is a 10- day winter theater project directed by Betsy Melarkey Dunphy for young actors ages 9 – 16.   This show was first produced in February at Mad Horse Theater in South Portland.    With Roberta Muse as musical director,  this is a fully-staged production of the Broadway musical, featuring sets, costumes, choreography and songs from the show.

If you are interested in learning more about  the Library’s “Acting Up” program, or Snow Stage Youth Theater, please feel free to speak to a Youth Services librarian, as new classes will begin in the fall.   No auditions or experience is necessary. “Acting Up” is free, but space is limited.
